CommunityLink Open House & Scavenger Hunt

Join us as we celebrate the upcoming Mary Jane Reed & Robert W. Reed CommunityLink Open House, a special event showcasing the many services, programs, and resources available through CommunityLink and its partner agencies.

This community celebration will welcome residents, supporters, and local leaders to learn more about the organizations working together to strengthen Shelby County.

Explore CommunityLink Through a Scavenger Hunt

Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive CommunityLink Scavenger Hunt. As guests explore the facility, they will visit participating partner agencies, learn about their missions and services, and discover the impact each organization makes in our community.

Each agency will offer a unique stop along the scavenger hunt experience, which may include:

  • A clue, stamp, or sticker
  • A simple activity or interaction
  • Information about programs and services available to the community

Meet Our Community Partners

Partner agencies will be available throughout the Open House to:

  • Share information about their organization
  • Answer questions from visitors
  • Highlight services and resources available to Shelby County residents

This Open House is a celebration of the collaboration, service, and community impact made possible through CommunityLink. We invite everyone to attend, connect with local organizations, and discover the many resources available within our community.

How You Can Help

VASIA Guardians assist seniors and vulnerable adults with:

  • making decisions about their general care.
  • accessing services they need.
  • making medical decisions.
  • determining what level of care they may need in a residential facility.

Guardians also helps the protected person apply for governmental benefits in which they may be eligible.
